Order of Christian Initiation of Adults
Interested in Becoming Catholic? Join the OCIA Process
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the process through which adults are welcomed into full communion with the Catholic Church. It is a journey of conversion and formation, rooted in the Gospel and supported by the faith community.
OCIA is open to:
- Individuals who have never been baptized
- Those interested in becoming Catholic
- Baptized Catholics who have not yet received all the sacraments of initiation (such as First Communion or Confirmation)
- Practicing Catholics who desire to deepen their understanding of the faith
The process begins with the Inquiry Phase, a time to ask questions, explore the faith, and discern how God may be calling you. Whether you’re just beginning to explore Catholicism or seeking to complete your sacramental journey, you are warmly invited to participate.
English OCIA sessions begin August 10th and will be held Sundays following from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Ministry Room of the Family Life Center. This is a great opportunity to learn more and ask questions.
If you—or someone you know—has expressed interest in becoming Catholic or growing deeper in faith, please reach out.
