English Announcements

This week, our Outreach offering  will support Homeworks. Home Works shows God’s love by repairing homes of South Carolina neighbors in need through volunteer service. The second collection  is for Disaster Assistance. 


Today’s readings may be found on page 54 of the Let Us Celebrate book and #1148 in the Gather Book. 


Let us pray for all students returning to school. Our Religious Education program begins soon—late and FINAL registration will be held this Monday through Wednesday, August 11–13, from 10 AM to 4 PM. We’re also still in need of catechists. If you’re able to help, please contact Jackie at the parish office. 


Please note that we have changed adoration on Thursday, the 14th. We will end adoration at 5PM and celebrate the vigil Mass for the Feast of the Assumption at 7PM in English. On Friday we will celebrate this Holy Day of Obligation with English Masses at 8AM and 12Noon and ending with a Mass in Spanish at 7PM.  


This September we will begin a support group to help adults who are grieving the loss of a loved one- GriefShare. Please watch the bulletin and webpage for more information. 


All parish volunteers in all ministries,  please go to your virtus account (www.Virtus.Org) and check your account to be sure it says that you are compliant. If you need help contact Sr. Christina. Thank you.

Esta semana, nuestra colecta de ayuda social  apoyará a Homeworks. Homeworks demuestra el amor de Dios al reparar hogares de vecinos necesitados de Carolina del Sur mediante el servicio voluntario. La segunda colecta es para asistencia en caso de desastre. 


Las lecturas de hoy  se encuentran en la página 55 del libro Celebremos. 


Oremos por todos los estudiantes que regresan a clases. Nuestro programa de Educación Religiosa comenzará pronto. Las ULTIMAS inscripciones serán este lunes, martes y miércoles, 11 al 13 de agosto, de 10 AM a 4 PM. Aún necesitamos catequistas. Si desea apoyar, comuníquese con Jackie en la oficina parroquial. 


Tengan en cuenta que hemos cambiado la adoración del jueves 14. El Santísimo finalizará a las 5PM y celebraremos la misa de vigilia de la Asunción a las 7pm en inglés. El viernes celebraremos con misas en inglés a las 8am, 12 del medio día y finalizaremos con una misa en español a las 7pm. 


Pronto ofreceremos un grupo de apoyo en inglés para ayudar a adultos que están de duelo por la pérdida de un ser querido-- GriefShare. Compartiremos más información pronto. 


Se les hace la invitación a todos a nuestro Retiro de Nueva Evangelización.  Será del 27 al 31 de agosto. Para más información mire abajo o favor de llamar a la oficina.

El Amor se Hizo Acción

ES: Este fin de semana de San Valentín, el amor se hizo acción. 💐 A través de su venta, Mano Amiga recaudó fondos para continuar apoyando a los enfermos y necesitados de nuestra comunidad parroquial. Nuestro más sincero agradecimiento a cada voluntario, a cada persona que ayudó a crear los arreglos, y a todos los que hicieron una compra o donación. Qué hermosa manera de comenzar la Cuaresma: amando a los demás con servicio, sacrificio y generosidad. ✝️ EN: This Valentine’s weekend, love became action. 💐 Through their sale, Mano Amiga raised funds to support the sick and needy in our parish community. Heartfelt thanks to every volunteer, every helping hand, and every generous donor. What a beautiful way to begin Lent — by loving others through service, sacrifice, and generosity. ✝️

A little late to share—but too beautiful not to post 💚

EN: A huge thank you to our incredible Religious Ed teachers! 🌟 They guided our 7th & 8th grade students through a Jesse Tree Scripture Study, helping them trace Jesus’ family tree through Old Testament stories using handmade ornaments, Scripture, and reflection. Even though Christmas has passed, the lessons of faith, promise, and fulfillment in Christ continue to bear fruit. ES: ¡Un enorme agradecimiento a nuestros increíbles catequistas de Educación Religiosa! 🌟 Ellos guiaron a nuestros estudiantes de 7.º y 8.º grado a través de un estudio bíblico del Árbol de Jesé, ayudándolos a recorrer el árbol genealógico de Jesús mediante historias del Antiguo Testamento, usando adornos hechos a mano, la Sagrada Escritura y la reflexión. Aunque la Navidad ya pasó, las lecciones de fe, promesa y cumplimiento en Cristo continúan dando fruto.

Nuestra comunidad se reunió con amor y devoción para honrar a Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe en una festividad verdaderamente especial. Esta celebración fue posible gracias al compromiso y al trabajo en equipo de tantos corazones generosos. Valoramos profundamente su disposición y entrega al servir. ¡Que Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe siga bendiciendo a nuestra comunidad!
