Job Title: Finance Manager.
Job Summary: We are a parish in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charleston seeking to employ for salary a financial manager with relevant experience in bookkeeping and finance.
Job Compensation: Base salary commensurate with experience and skill. Excellent benefits.
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience: Bookkeeping: 3 years (Required)

Job Responsibilities:
1. Perform payroll functions
2. Perform all activities related to the accounts payable & receivable functions
3. Conduct reconciliation of financial accounts and the general ledger.
4. Control and monitor funds of all affiliated parish organizations.
5. Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations, and ensure compliance with applicable standards
6. Prepare and analyze financial statements & reports
7. Lead the budget setting and management process
8. Maintain a responsible cash flow management system
9. Any other responsibilities as requested by the Pastor
Job Requirements:
1. Strong understanding of accounting principles.
2. Leverage technology to make informed business decisions.
3. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
4. Demonstrate organizational ability, strong team collaboration behavior, together with outstanding ability to take initiative and solve problems.
Job Skills:
1. Consistently proactive and self-motivated.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
3. Strong technical and analytical skills.
