EN: Pentecost Vigil: Light in the Darkness Our Pentecost Vigil was a night to remember—even if we’re just now getting around to posting these photos! Just as we began to pray and wait for the Holy Spirit, the power went out—but the candles kept burning. In the soft glow of candlelight, we were reminded of the Spirit’s quiet and steady presence, even in darkness. We listened to Scripture, reflected in silence, and prayed as a community—trusting that God was at work among us, just as He was on that first Pentecost. No electricity, no problem—the fire of Pentecost was still alive.

In addition to the financial assistance, our volunteers came together as a community to help with essential yard work, all under the intense heat of this season. This gesture is a reminder that, even in the midst of hardship, love and solidarity flourish even more strongly. We invite you—if you or someone you know needs support—not to hesitate to reach out to your parish. We are here to walk together.
