🍽️ Join Us for a Delicious Food Sale – Sunday, May 4! 🌮🍰 Our Lady of the Hills Youth Ministry invites you to a Food Sale on Sunday, May 4 , after every Mass!  After every Mass, come enjoy an amazing variety of food, snacks, drinks, and desserts prepared by our talented parish families. There’s something for everyone! All proceeds will support our teens as they prepare to attend the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) . Your support helps our young church grow in faith and community! Bring your appetite and your generosity, and help our youth reach their goal while enjoying some amazing homemade treats! Come hungry. Leave inspired. Support our youth!

EN: Last Sunday our teens had an awesome night playing Nerf Wars. There were lots of laughs and oh so much fun!! ES: El domingo pasado, nuestros jóvenes disfrutaron de una noche increíble jugando guerras de Nerf. ¡Hubo muchas risas y muchísima diversión!

ES: Queremos expresar nuestro más sincero agradecimiento a cada persona que apoyó la venta de comida organizada por Mano Amiga este Domingo de Ramos. Su generosidad y participación hicieron de este evento un verdadero éxito, y gracias a usted, podemos seguir ayudando a los enfermos y necesitados de nuestra comunidad. Un agradecimiento muy especial a nuestros incansables voluntarios, quienes constantemente donan su tiempo, talento y recursos para esta noble causa. EN: On Good Friday, members of our youth group got up early to participate in our annual Good Friday day of service. In the morning we held Camp Awesome. A day camp experience for children who are underprivleged and underserviced. At 3:00, we went to the church for Veneration of the Cross. After veneration, we went back to the youth room to watch The Passion of the Christ together... It was a beautiful day of Service, prayer and reflection. ES: El Viernes Santo, los miembros de nuestro grupo de jóvenes madrugaron para participar en nuestro servicio anual de Viernes Santo. Por la mañana, celebramos el Campamento Awesome, un campamento de día para niños de bajos recursos y con necesidades educativas especiales. A las 3:00PM, fuimos a la iglesia para la Veneración de la Cruz. Después de la veneración, volvimos al salon de jóvenes para ver juntos la Pasión de Cristo. Fue un hermoso día de servicio, oración y reflexión.

EN: During Lent, our youth group prepared a special version of the Stations of the Cross using silhouettes. With light, shadows, and reflections, they helped us reflect on Jesus’ final journey in a powerful way. Each station was acted out with care and prayer. It was meaningful and beautiful to watch. We’re so proud of our teens for sharing their faith and creativity with our parish. ES: Durante la Cuaresma, nuestro grupo de jóvenes preparó una versión especial del Viacrucis usando siluetas. Con luz, sombras y reflexión, nos ayudaron a meditar de manera profunda sobre el camino final de Jesús. Cada estación fue representada con cuidado y oración. Fue algo muy significativo y hermoso de ver. Estamos muy orgullosos de nuestros jóvenes por compartir su fe y creatividad con nuestra parroquia.
